Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority is being urged by the residents of Islamabad to act quickly to address the pervasive zoning violations in residential areas of Islamabad. There are a lot of illicit businesses which is operating in residential neighborhoods like clinics, hostels, even foreign media outlets are operating. This significant disruption is being caused by this spike in business activity, which is raising issues with parking, traffic, and the environment. The commercial activities clearly violate the Islamabad Residential Sectors Zoning Ordinance 1960 made by CDA.

They citizens of Islamabad ought to have their living spaces treated with the same degree of care and protection. Residents have requested the CDA to identify illicit commercial enterprises through surveys in all sectors in order to address the issue.

In order to ensure the safety and livability of residential areas the locals have also called on the CDA to stickily enforce current regulations regardless of their ties or influence.
